  • Description
  • This short investigative film looks at the lives of people in refugee camps in Indonesia after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. The film reveals the truth of slow processes by juxtapositioning the people’s actual situation with the mighty claims of the Indonesian government, proving that the little help that arrived was from foreign aid and NGOs. Even with this deceit, the people of Banda Aceh, a city in Indonesia, continue to rebuild their lives, attempting to gain back normalcy. UPC/UPLINK team have done a very impressive and inspiring job in combining community organizing and technical work in Disaster Rehabilitation Program in Banda Aceh.
